Wher eas I am entitled to the mines veins and seams of coal ore, minerals and m etals in and under all the piece of meadow or pasture ground variously cal led or known by the name of Rowdens Grip containing by estimation four acr es and a half (more or less) situate lying and being in the parish of Paul ton in the said county of Somerset * * said piece of ground was sometime s ince known * to Rowdens

    This is the last will and testament of Sarah Purnell of Hallatrow with t he parish of High Littleton in the county of Somerset, spinster. I give a nd bequeath unto my brother William Skey Purnell the sum of one hundred po unds. Also I give and bequeath unto my brother John Purnell the sum of o ne hundred pounds. * said two legacies I herby direct shall be paid at t he expiration of twelve months next after my decease all the rest resid ue and remainder of my estate and property as well * as * and also a ll my monies and securities for money and other effects whatsoever a nd * I give devise and bequeath unto my dear sister Betty Purne ll to * to *** executors and administrator for ever and I do hereby nomina te executor appoint my said sister Betty Purnell sole executrix of th is my will hereby revoking all other wills and declaring this to be my on ly last will and testament. In witness * I have to * my last will and tes tament set my hand and seal this second day of December one thousand eig ht hundred and fifteen Sarah Purnell.     Proved at London 27th June 1832 before the judge by the Oath of Betty Purn ell, Spinster the sister and sole Executrix to whom admon was granted bei ng first sworn (by *) to administer.
