  Settled in Adolphustown John Henry Roblin (Stephen3, Owen2, Owen1) son of Stephen Roblin and Amy Allison was born Nov. 25, 1833 in Adolphustown. John married 1) Elizabeth Catherine Mallory, daughter of Edwin Mallory and Sarah Bedell and 2) Meribeth Trumpour, daughter of Joseph Trumpour and Lydia Dorland. John and Elizabeth were married August 28, 1858 in Fredericksburgh. Elizabeth was born about 1839. 1861 Census - John, 29, is living in Adolphustown with Catherine 20 and Elizabeth 2. Catherine (Mallory) Roblin died about 1865. John and Meribeth were married Feb. 27, 1866. Meribeth was born Sept 14, 1835. 1871 Census - John, 37, is living in Adolphustown with Meribeth 33, Amy 12, and Paul 3. 1881 Census - John, 48, is living in Adolphustown with Meribeth 44, Amy 21, Finley 13, Fred 10, and Ernest 6. Meribeth (Trumpour) Roblin died Jan 22, 1911. John Henry Roblin died Oct. 14, 1918. They are both buried in St. Albans Anglican Cemetery in Adolphustown. [1, 3]
