Notes - Owen Roblin married Margaret Ruttan, and had a large farm on the third concession of Adolphustown, where he lived for many years and died at an advanced age. To distinguish him from the many other prominent men of his own name, now a familiar one throughout the county, he was called the "one-eyed" Roblin, owing to the fact that at an early age he suffered the misfortune of losing the sight of one eye. His descendants are numerous and are recognized as many of the leading business men and farmers in the county.
