    • Gordon joined the 1st Canadian Mounted Rifles and served in France during the First World War. He managed a supermarket in Carman after the war and later moved to Morris (Manitoba) where he also managed a supermarket. Married Eva from Winnipeg's North End (Ukrainian background) in 1922(?). Lived in Edmonton and Vancouver and had no known children. Gordon in Edmonton and is buried in the Veteran's Field of Honor, Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Edmonton. [6]
