Mcnaughton - MacMartin (How it is spelt in newspaper)
The home of Mr. and Mrs. E. MacMartin of Marmaduke street was the scene of a very quiet and pretty wedding this afternoon, when their third daughter, Sybil Evelyn, was united in marriage to Mr. A. Cameron Mcnaughton, B.A., Rev. Alex. Gilray, D.D. officiating. Miss Muriel MacMartin, sister of the bride was bridesmail, while Mr. Wm. C. Graham, B.A. assisted the groom, and Miss Katie Mcnaughton, sister of the groom, played the wedding March. The bride who entered the drawing-room with her father, was wearing a gown of Ivory duchess satin and silk embroidered Brussels net, with pearl trimings, also the customary bridal veil with orange blossoms, and carried a bouquet of white roses and lillies of the valley. The bridesmaid was in cream embroidered Brussels net and lingerie hat, and carried a large bouquet of pale pink roses.
After the ceremony buffet refreshments were served, then the bride and groom left for Eastern points, sailing from Montreal Saturday, 22nd, by the Laurentic for England and France, the bride travelling in a plainly tailored navy serge and tuscan hat. On their return they will reside in their new home in Glencairn avenue. Owing to a recent bereavement only the immediate relatives were invited. [9]
