Notes - Thomas was a banker in Ireland where he met his wife while cerving in Co. Leitrim. After some years in Saskatchewan, he returned to claim his good lady. He served in the Bank of Montreal in several of Canada's larger cities. Before retirement Thomas occupied one of the chief posts in their great network of Branches. Awarded the Order of the British Empire in 1945 while in Edmonton.
