  • Notes
    • About 1910 Robert bought the "Cottage" farm from the late Major Forde. After the deaths of borth Parents due to the 1918-19 influenza scourge, the children were cared for by Miss M. Kennedy. When she married, her sister Miss Emily K. took over. (both Aunts). The farm was attended to by Uncle David Dickson, who travelled daily from Bonecastle, for as long as necessary. In recent years the "Cottage" has been replaced by a fine modern building. Alexander and his Aunt live on the farm at Farranfad near Seaforde. [1]
