It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Morris Allan Kreutzkamp in his 84th year at St. Mary's Hospital on Thursday, August 30, 2018. Beloved husband of Ruth Marie nee Bieman for 61 years. Dear father of son Terry and his wife Beth of Kitchener and joyously reunited in heaven with his daughter Kelly Lynn who passed away in 1978. Loving grandpa of David, Josh, Alison and Joel Kreutzkamp and special 'Papa Moe' to his great-granddaughter Lindsay. Survived by his dear sister Marjorie Spielmacher of Hanover. Predeceased by brothers Chester, Clifford and Ken; and sisters Sylvia, Betty and Shirley. Uncle Morris/Uncle Moe will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Morris loved to sing and was involved in many choirs over the years. Along with participating in the St. Stephen's church choir, he sang bass with The Twin City Harmonizers, The Waterloo Regional Police Male Chorus, and The Gloryland Choir. Morris was also highly involved in the Kitchener Civitan Club, served as president.
Morris loved people and was well known for his sense of humour and caring manner, whether with family and friends, or during his years working as a steel salesman.
Family and friends may call at the Henry Walser Funeral Home in Kitchener on Sunday, September, 2, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held on Monday, September 3rd at St. Stephen Lutheran Church (248 Highland Rd. E.) at 12 noon with Pastor Richard Schwass officiating. Reception to follow. In leiu of flowers, donations to the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, or to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family. (Donations can be made at the funeral home)
