Good Morning All,
In the old papers, found an extract from PAROISSE SAINT-EUSEBE de Verceil, Province of Quebec, District of Montreal for the year 1912. The extract is dated December 11th, 1922 and is entirely in Latin.
This would appear to be a marriage (matrimoniale) certificate between Felix (Felicem) Navicki son of Georgi (Jurgis) and Municae (Monika) cum (with) Anna (Ona) filia (daughter) of Ambronir (difficult to read) and Veronicae (Veronica) Vasskevier (Jankevicius misspelled, typical). This would appear to be the twentieth (duodecim) of December (decima). I don’t know if “decima” here means the tenth month (October) or December.

Notes - Came to Canada as an adult (Before 1912), parents stayed behind in Lithuania.
Alternate spelling is Naviskas
Navickas is a Lithuanian version of the Polish NOWICKI, a feature form whose name root is ‘now’ from ‘nowy’ and means 'new' in the Slavic languages. Navickas is a typical surname with an ‘-as’ suffix. Usually this suffix and others are added to a word describing person’s distinctive feature yielding a nickname which stuck as a surname [Hoffman, op. cit., 1997]. Navickas is one of the more popular Lithuanian surnames with 852 families of that name residing in Lithuania circa 1989. Navickevicius is another Lithuanian surnames descending from the same earlier form. Navickas is the Polish Novak, Nowicki pronounced 'Novitsky'. Navickas [852 found], Navikas [206 found].
One of the most common names in Poland and Lithuania. From the Polish _nowy_ 'new'. Possible roots: either 'the new guy in town' patronymically or 'somebody from the new town'." Charles J. emaitis, Decatur, IL. [1]
