    • William was in the workhouse at Lyminge in the 1871 census aged 6 years.In the census of 1891 he was living at Elham at Duck Street and working as a tailor, t he family were still there in 1901.On Williams death certificate it states that he was a tailor (journeyman) of Elham RD, although William died at the Workhou se in Lyminge. The death was registered 27th February 1908
