  WILL OF DANIEL NASH of Woodham Walter, Essex Made the 21st February 1740 and proved the 9th August 1753 Essex Record Office reference D/ABR 24/159 In the name of God amen I Daniel Nash of Woodham Walter in the County of Essex yeoman being of perfect and sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following First I give and devise all that my freehold messuage or tenement and lands and hereditaments thereunto belonging with their and very of their appurtenances situate lying and being on Scullstye Green together with a field commonly called Scullstye Field and …………… thereunto belonging now with tenure or occ- upation of John Sheppard or his under tenants all which said premises are situate lying and being in Woodham Walter within said County of Essex and all my right title and interest of and in the same unto my son in law Abraham Roys and Hannah his wife To have and to hold the said messuage or tenements lands and pre- mises with their and every of their appurtenances unto the said Abraham Roys and Hannah his wife for and during the term of their natural lives and the life of the longer liver of them and after their several deceases I give and devise the said messuage or tenements lands and premises before mentioned unto my loving son …………… Nash and his heirs and assigns forever And I give and bequeath unto my said daughter Hannah Roys immediately after my decease a years rent of all the lands and premises which I shall be possessed at the time of my decease and also all sums of money whatsoever as shall be then owing to me And I also give and bequeath unto my son Daniel Nash the sum of one shilling to be paid him by my executrix hereinaf- ter named within one month after my death And I give and devise unto my loving son Joseph Nash all that my copyhold messuage or tenement lands and hereditaments outhouses gardens and fields thereunto belonging situate lying and being ………..
