6529 | Re: the marriage of Thomas Hall Warman and Jane Hall in 1840, Shelley Haigger indicates that "Jane HALL bp1821 dau of James HALL and Jane Milton did NOT marry Thomas Hall WARMAN." But T H Warman did marry "a" Jane Hall. Thomas Hall WARMAN Sex: M Marriage(s): Spouse: Jane HALL Marriage: 5 Dec 1840 Folkestone, Kent, England Source Information: IGI Batch number: Dates Source Call No. Type Printout Call No. Type A458155 - 458155 Film NONE Here is what IGI has for Jane Hall, b. 1800-1840. No Jane HALL born in Folkestone 1800-1810. Further information from Shelley Haigger: "According to a transcript of the marriage register held in Folkestone library, Thomas Hall WARMAN married Jane HALL dau of Robert HALL. I don't appear to have any baptism of a Jane HALL (dau of Robert HALL) in the appropriate period. I expect you know already ......... Thomas Hall WARMAN was a mariner. I don't have any census records 1841/51 etc for WARMAN so can't check when/where the said Jane HALL was probably born. I think that Jane Ratley HALL bp 1818 was probably buried 1820. but not confirmed. Re: Jane HALL dau of Thomas HALL and Margaret JEFFERY - nothing further known. Jane HALL born c1836 - I assume you mean the daughter of Richard HALL and Ann FREEMAN? No marriage listed in my records. I have already sent everything I have on this branch to the lady researching this family and BEGENT some time ago. With the sheer number of HALLs in Folkestone, I very much doubt if anybody will ever be able to sort them all out with any certainty." This would mean, our Jane is none of the above. | HALL, Jane (I14962)
