Levi drowned himself in the muddy pond behind the big red barn that can be seen from his tombstone at Fish Lake. Apparently, in his old age, he and his second wife Elizabeth Osbourne had no "means" to live on. But his sons by his first wife would not support their step-mother. So the old folks were separated and one of her girls took Elizabeth Osbourne Roblin in. But old Levi was lonesome without her and committed suicide.

1680 Albert joined the AIF in Devonport, Tasmania 19 Oct 1917. Reg no. 8008, unit 27, 12 battalion. Albert embarked in Melbourne 28 Feb 1918 on the HMAS Estor, and disembarked in Liverpool, England 20 April 1918, he proceeded to France arriving 22
July 1918. where he was killed in action Albert was wounded in the right leg, and was put under a bank ready for removal by strecher bearers, when he was hit again by a piece of schrapnel in the head, killing him instantly.

A couple of years later he is before the Dunblane Kirk Session - Alexander Monteath, farmer in Park of Jerah,Logie 1783/4 had a child to Janet Eadie daughter of John Eadie, farmer, Blau Shank. 1698 Alexander Monteath McNaughton - An elder of College Street United Church, Alexander Monteath McNaughton died yesterday at his residence, 12 Major Street, in his 91st year. Son of Rev. and Mrs. Peter McNaughton, he was born in Vaughan Township, where he spent most of his life. His father a native of Perthshire, Scotland was a pioneer clergyman in Canada, preaching both in Gaelic and English, and founded a church in Vaughan Township. Mr. McNaughton watched with keen interest the development of Canada from its pioneer days, and even during the last years of his life was able to recall Canadian history from before Confederation. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Catherine at home, and Mrs. E. Ward, Collingwood; four sons, A.
