1138 | 6 000 of the 10 000 disbanded troops and Loyalists who had gathered at Sorel were settled in the western townships along the Saint Lawrence river and in the Bay of Quinte area. In addition some 900 "Associated" Loyalists who were taken from New York to Quebec were settled at Adolphustown and Kingston. Philip Roblin was an "Associated" Loyalist with Peter Ruttan's company.
