The photo of John Palen Roblin came from the Janet and Richard Lunn book called The County, which is available online. It is actually a painting and it hangs in the Head Office of the Bank of Montreal at 119 rue St. Jacques in Old Montreal. It was presented to them by the Rev. S.H. Roblin, D.D., in June, 1946 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Bank of Montreal in Picton. John P. Roblin was the first known agent of the Bank of Montreal in Picton, a position of some importance I was told by a contact at the Bank of Montreal.
