  Gertrude Polley Gertrude Polley, 84, died March 2, 1988. Born in Bavaria, Germany, she resided in the Tacoma area 62 years. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. Survivors: brothers, Paul and Martin Schwab, Germany; cousins, Esther and Conrad Schwab; several nieces and nephews. She had many friends and was loved by all of them. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Piper Chapel. Private burial, Tacoma Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
