Nathan married 1) Sarah Scott who died before 1850 and 2) Abigail Van Cott, daughter of Peter Van Cott and Amelia Lawrence. Abigail was born about 1821 in Shannonville, Hastings County.

1851 Census - Nathan, and brothers Philip and Stephen are living in Tyendinaga. 1861 Census - Nathan 44, is living in Tyendinaga with Abigail 40, Emily 12, Sarah 11, and Ann 7. 1871 Census - Nathan 54 living in Tyendinaga 1881 Census - Abby 54 living in Tyendinaga with Milla 24.

It would appear that Sarah would be the mother of Emily and Sarah.

Nathan died March 11, 1881. Abigail died May 20, 1887.

Walter Roblin of Belleville, in his 87th year.
Son of the late Harry and Clara Roblin. Beloved husband of the late Audrey Roblin.
Dear father of Margaret Hammell (Gordon) of Manitoba and Elinor Thomson (Jim) of Belleville. Walter will also be remembered by his grandchildren Lisa and Andy Thomson and Sally and Kevin Hammell. Resting at the John R Bush Funeral Home 80 Highland Ave Belleville (613-968-5588).
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday February 1st, 2008 at 11 a.m. Rev Dr. Hal Wilson Officiating. Interment Victoria Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
