Jacob was a Rebel in the Rev War (14th Albany Co Militia), and he along with the PRENTICES and others came to Canada in 1801. He and son-in-law Oliver never lost their Rebel sympathies and were apparently welcoming to the Americans when they attacked Toronto in 1813. Soon after that both men moved to Ohio where Jacob died soon after.
