  Settled in Picton [Nugent.ftw] Daniel and his son, Madison were killed by an explosion in a steam mill. Daniel Roblin (Jacob3, Owen2,Owen1) son of Jacob Roblin and Sarah Vandusen was born Sept. 30, 1827 in Sophiasburgh. Daniel married Esther/Hester Sarah Blakely March 19, 1850 in Picton, Ontario. Esther was born May 6, 1834. 1861 Census - Daniel, 31, living in Sophiasburgh with Hester 28, Malangthen 8, Madison 5, and Ethel 1. Daniel died May 5, 1874 in an explosion in a steam mill with his son, Madison. 1881 Census - Ester, age 45, is living in Picton with Melancthon, his wife Annie, Ethel 20 and Georgeana 17.
