    • Settled in Adolphustown

      Stephen Roblin (Owen2,Owen1) son of Owen Roblin Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Ruttan was born Oct 4, 1797 in Adolphustown. Stephen married Amy Allison between 1819-1820. Amy born July 29, 1801 was daughter of Benjamin Allison and Phoebe Jane Davidson.

      1851 Census - Stephen, age 55, and Amy, age 51, are living in Adolphustown with Joseph, Rachel, John H. Melissa A., Stephen P., and Mary E. Stephen's parents Owen P. 85 and Mary 76 are also living with Stephen and family.

      Amy died Aug 20, 1857. She is buried in the U.E.L. Cemetery in Adolphustown.

      Stephen remarried Feb 16, 1859 to Martha Fairman. In 1861 and 1871 Stephen and Martha are found in Adolphustown.

      Martha died Aug 10, 1872.

      In 1881 Stephen, age 83, is living with son, Cyrus and family, in Adolphustown. Stephen died Feb 1, 1884 and is buried in the U.E.L. Cemetery in Adolphustown. [2, 5]
