      Nurse in WW1 for 4 years. Was in Longwood Hospital, Toronto, Imperial Flying core also at First Base hospital where she had the honor of showing the Duke of Devonshire over her ward. Was made Lieut. and was sent overseas and servfed at No. 13 Canadian General Hospital, Hastings, Sussex, England and also No. 16 Canadian General Hospital at Orpington, Kent, England. She fell in love with Alex Grant who was married, when his wife died he looked her up.
