  Author of the wonderful book in 1958 of the Stong family in Canada. As he notes in his book in 1958: Single. Engaged in mixed farming across the road from where he was born on Lot 24, Concession 4, York Twp. He performed farming in a partnership with his brother Albert. After retiring in 1935 he with his brother and sisters made a hobby of seeing Canada from coast to coast and also visited the USA. Belongs to the Central United Church.
