  Joseph married Annie M. Foster, after 1881 as he was living at home on census day 1881, and had at least three children Elsie, E. Ruth (1894-1920) and Grace R. Grace was apparently in contact with Bessie Roblin, and a letter from her to Bessie upon the death of Bessie's mother survives. [9]
