  (Medical):Delivered at 23 weeks due to poor placenta development which caused Elana's health to suffer and to go into Hospital in Parry Sound on the morning of December 31st 2003. She was airlifted via helicopter that day to Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto to be treated by specialists. On January 6th 2004 Elana's health had continued to worsen and it was determined that Faith had no chance to live due to the placenta problems. Elana was induced and delivered Faith at 6:00pm on January 7th 2004, she weighed only 400 grams at birth. She passed away in her mothers arms shortly after delivery. [1]
