      Made on the 20th November 1714 and proved on the 21st August 1716

      In the name of God amen I Daniel Nash
      of Danbury in the County of Essex yeond being in perfect
      mind and memory thanks be given to Almighty God do
      make & ordain this my last will and testament after my debts &
      funeral charges paid in ye following manner and form
      Impris I will & bequeath ye Bond I gave to John Cooper
      Snr of Danbury gent on ye account of marrying my daughter
      Ethelred be fully satisfied and paid according to ye true
      conditions thereof Item I give to my son Daniel Nash my
      eldest son the sum of twenty eight pounds of good & lawful
      money to be paid twelve months after the decease of my
      loving wife Ethelred by my extor hereafter named Item I
      give & bequeath to my loving wife Elthelred all ye my freehold
      messuage or land including (?) ye land and appurtenances both free and
      copyhold thereunto belonging lying in ye parish of Woodham
      Ferrers during her natural life also one half of my goods
      chattels
