• Notes

  Phyllis went to nursing school at the University of Manitoba and got a BA. She later attended Columbia University in New York and received an MA. She did her practical training at the Misericordia and Children's Hospitals in Winnipeg and became a registered nurse. Phyllis married Jock Lovell in Winnipeg with the reception held at the Royal Alexandra Hotel in Winnipeg. It was one of the social events of the year and very pricey for her father. She and Jock moved to Toronto and later Newmarket. The four children are Jane, Alexander (Sandy), David and Philip. She died of Alzheimers. [2]
