      At 9 fostered by hosts of Lifeboat Inn, North St. A fisherman then held Folkestone beach deckchair concession & gave trips round bay. Lived East St., Folkestone fish market, then Penfold Road, Folkestone.

      Diabetic, refused amputation of gangrenous toes & died soon after. Unsurprisingly, known for stubbornness.
