Edward (Ted) Curlette was born in Calgary, Alberta on May 17th, 1964 and left this world peacefully on September 4th, 2012.
Ted lived in Calgary throughout his childhood and graduated from Bishop Carroll high school in 1982. After that he went on to study economics at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. Upon graduation Ted returned to Calgary to ply his trade in the family business. Ted realized the growing economic potential of Southeast Asia in the early 90

Edward Blake "Curly" Curlette, 1872-1952, was born in Big Island, Ontario and came to Calgary, Alberta in 1899. He entered the photography business with his uncle, K.W. Snider, and in 1902 took over the studio. Due to poor health E.B. was unable to work from 1911 to 1914, but then worked until 1946 when his building was destroyed by fire. He was active with the Masons and Shriners. He and his wife, Annie May, ?-1940, had one son, Edward Thompson "Ted".
