There is a burial of a William Holmes pauper of Bridge St, St Werburgh on 16 Sep 1827 aged 32 in the parish register for Derby, St Werburgh which would just about fit in with the birth of his youngest son William on 15 Apr 1828 at Bridge St but whether this is correct is anyone's guess.
