William died on the 3rd March 1968 at his home, 3 Station Road. He had lived th ere since at least 1941, not sure of the date they moved there. The death was r eported by his only child, Ernest William Punnett, the next day.William was kno wn locally as 'Old Bill', there was a note to this in the obituary. The occupat ion on the death crtificate was, general farm worker, retired.

The death was registered 27th February 1908

The drinking place was called The Coopers Arms, the origional name was derived from Kennett Coope r who supplemented his barrel making, by opening a beer house around 1830.
